Under the name of IIUM Poetry Club, its members have found popularity through English Spoken Words and Malay Pantun Arts which have produced many creative minds among IIUM students. One of the goals of this club is to challenge the authority of anyone who claims absolute authority over literary value. Therefore, several programs were launched to meet the objective, for example, Poetry Spoken Words Competition 2014 and Pesta Pantun MAKUM 2012. To conclude, this club was proven effective as a platform for students to express their feeling, thoughts and suggestion in a soft, artistic and poetic manner.
